She was lucky to flee to the United States, where she is beginning her new life in Southern California.

“Marjan” is the Farsi word for “coral” — hence the name “Coral Drawing.” Marjan loves the meaning of her name due to the beauty and strength associated with coral reefs, symbolizing a resilient yet graceful nature.
